Hazrat Ibn Abi Dhi'b says that Hazrat Zuhri said: In my opinion, sneezing is also a form of crying.

Hazrat Ikrimah states that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: The crying at the time of a child's birth refers to its screaming.

Hazrat Yahya bin Saeed narrates that Hazrat Qasim bin Muhammad said: At the time of a child's birth, crying refers to making a sound or sneezing.

Hazrat Mughira narrates that Ibrahim said: By the crying of a child at birth is meant screaming.
