Hadith 29444
٢٩٤٤٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معاذ بن معاذ عن أشعث عن الحسن قال: إذا (شهد) (١) على صاحب الحائط المائل فوقع فأصاب فهو ضامن.
Hazrat Ash'ath narrates that Hasan Basri said: When testimony is given against the owner of a leaning wall, and then that wall falls on someone and that person dies, then the owner will be held liable.
Hadith 29445
٢٩٤٤٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن جابر عن عامر عن شريح قال: إذا كان حائط الرجل مائلًا فأشهد عليه ضمن.
Hazrat Aamir narrates that Hazrat Shurayh said: When a man's wall is leaning and testimony is given against him regarding it, then that person will be held liable.
Hadith 29446
٢٩٤٤٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم مثله.
The aforementioned statement of Ibrahim is also transmitted from Hazrat Mughira through this chain of narration.
Hadith 29447
٢٩٤٤٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عطاء الخفاف عن سعيد عن قتادة أنه كان يقول: في الحائط المائل إذا (شهدوا) (١) على صاحبه فقتل إنسانًا فهو ضامن.
Hazrat Saeed says that Hazrat Qatadah used to say about a leaning wall that when people testify against its owner, and then if someone dies because of it, that person (the owner) will be held liable.
