Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Mughira narrates that Ibrahim said: The blood money (diyat) for a killer is equal both within the boundaries of the Haram and outside the boundaries of the Haram.

Hazrat Jabir narrates that Hazrat Amir said: The blood money (diyah) of both is equal.

Hazrat Saeed bin Abu Ma'shar narrates that Ibrahim said: Whoever commits murder within the boundaries of the Haram or outside the boundaries of the Haram, his blood money will be the same.

Hazrat Qatadah states that Hasan Basri said: No addition will be made to one blood money, similar to the statement of Ibrahim.

Hazrat Ibn Tawoos narrates that my father, Hazrat Tawoos, said: Severe blood money will be exacted from one who commits murder in the prohibited months, within the precincts of the Haram, in the state of Ihram, and concerning a neighbor.

Hazrat Tawoos narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is a severe blood-wit for killing a neighbor and for killing during the sacred months.

Hazrat Amr bin Dinar and Sulaiman Ahwal state that Hazrat Tawus said: In the boundaries of the Haram, in the sacred months, and in the killing of a neighbor, there will be severe blood money.

Hazrat Hisham states that Hasan Basri said: The blood money (diyah) for someone killed within the boundaries of the Haram should not be increased over the blood money for someone killed in the area outside the Haram.
