Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib narrates that Hazrat Umar had three residents of Sana'a killed in retribution (qisas) for (the murder of) one woman.

Ibrahim and Hazrat Amir Sha'bi, both of these gentlemen, stated: When a man intentionally kills a woman, then in retribution for that woman, the man will be killed as qisas (retaliation).

Hazrat Hakam states that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood, both of these personalities, said: When a man intentionally kills a woman, then in retribution the man will be killed as qisas (retaliation).

Hazrat Ibn Jurayj states that Hazrat Ata said: He will be killed; there is no difference between a man and a woman.
