Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Ibrahim that the price must be paid for the offspring in the belly of the animal.

Hazrat Hakam said that people used to consider the offspring of an animal equal to the offspring of a slave woman (that is, its blood money was considered equal as well).

It is narrated from Hasan that the offspring in the belly of an animal is valued at one-tenth of its mother's price.

Hazrat Zuhri said that we consider animals also as a commodity, for which the price of the offspring will be determined by the ruler, who will decide according to his own judgment what is better.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aamir that judgment will be made regarding the offspring of the animal.
