Cases Where a Slave Is Pardoned
Hadith 28967
٢٨٩٦٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن سعيد عن أبي معشر عن إبراهيم (في) (١) العبد يقتل الحر متعمدًا ثم يعفو ولي الدم عن الدم، قال: يرجع إلى مولاه.
It is narrated from Ibrahim regarding a slave who has intentionally killed a free man, that if the heirs pardon the retribution, then that slave will return to his master.
Hadith 28968
٢٨٩٦٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معاذ عن أشعث عن الحسن قال: إن عفوا عنه رجع (عبدًا) (١) إلى سيده.
Hasan said that if the heirs forgive, then he will be returned to his master.
Hadith 28969
٢٨٩٦٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا زيد بن الحباب عن حماد بن سلمة عن (حماد) (١) في عبد قتل حرًا فدفع إلى أوليائه قال: إن عفوا عنه رجع إلى سيده وليس لهم أن يستخدموه.
It is narrated from Hammad regarding a slave that if a slave intentionally kills a free person, and then he is handed over to the heirs of the deceased, but they forgive him, then this slave will return to his master, and the heirs do not have the right to take service from him.
