Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit said that for every wound which passes through the hand or foot, there are one hundred dinars.

Ibrahim said that for a deep wound on the inner side of the thigh (i.e., one that has penetrated deeply inside), one third of the blood money for the thigh is due.

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib said that for every wound that penetrates through a limb, one-third of the blood money (diyah) of that limb will be due as compensation.

Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib says that for every bone there is an internal (deep) wound, so whichever bone receives an internal wound, its compensation (diyah) will be according to that bone.

Hazrat Umar said that if an arrow passes through any limb, then one third of the blood money (diyah) for that limb will be payable as compensation.
