Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib narrates that in the ruling established by Hazrat Abu Bakr and Umar, it is stated that when the owner of the foot cannot unfold his foot after wrapping it, or cannot wrap it after unfolding it, or cannot lift it from the ground and place it again (then half of the blood money will be due), and for any injury less than this, its compensation will be according to its extent.

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that there is half diyat (blood money) for the foot.

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz said that there is half diyat (blood money) for the foot.

Hazrat Hakam and Hammad narrate from Ibrahim that if the hands or feet are wounded and become paralyzed, or if the eye is wounded and its sight is lost while it remains in its place, then in these cases full compensation (diyah) will be due.

Hazrat Ikrimah bin Khalid narrates from a man of the family of Umar that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: For a foot, the compensation (diyah) is fifty camels.

Hazrat Abdullah said that the compensation (diyah) for a foot is fifty camels, which will be divided into five parts.

It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit that when a foot becomes lame, there is half blood money (diyah) for it.
