Hazrat Zaid said that for the upper eyelid, half diyat is prescribed, and for the lower eyelid, one third diyat is prescribed.

Hazrat Sha'bi said that they did not consider anything obligatory in the plucking of eyelashes.

Hasan said that there is full blood money (diyah) for the eyelashes, and for each eyelash, there is a quarter of the blood money.

Hazrat Ibn Jurayj states that Abdul Aziz bin Umar informed me that Umar bin Abdul Aziz wrote a letter to the commanders of the armies that for plucking the upper eyelash, half the blood money is obligatory, and for plucking the lower eyelash, one third of the blood money of the eye is obligatory.
