Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib said that if both eyebrows are uprooted from the root, then there is full blood money (diyah) for it, and if one is uprooted, then there is half blood money (diyah) for it.

Hazrat Sha'bi said that there is diyah (blood money) for both eyebrows.

Hasan said that for both eyebrows the full blood money (diyah) is due, and for one eyebrow, half the blood money.

Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib has stated that Abu Bakr gave the verdict of ten camels for an eyebrow that was injured to the extent that both bones became visible.

Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit said that there is one third of the diyah (blood money) for both eyebrows.

Ibrahim said that for every paired organ of a man and a woman, there is blood money, such as hands and eyebrows, etc. And Sha'bi said that for every paired organ, there is blood money.

Hazrat Ibn Jurayj states that Abdul Karim bin Abi al-Mukhariq informed me that a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) told him that if the hair of the eyebrow falls out completely, then for the entire eyebrow, one-fourth of the blood money (diyah) is due, and if only part of the eyebrow hair has fallen out, then the blood money will be given proportionally.

Ibrahim said that it was said that for the limbs of a person which are in pairs, there is full blood money (diyah), and for one of them, there is half blood money, and for the limbs which are single, there is (full) blood money.
