من قال: ابن أخت القوم منهم
Saying: The Nephew of a People Is One of Them
Hadith 28178
٢٨١٧٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن عوف عن زياد بن مخراق عن أبي كنانة عن أبي موسى قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "ابن أخت القوم [منهم" (١).
Hazrat Abu Musa narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The nephew of a people is from among them.
Hadith 28179
٢٨١٧٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن قتادة عن أنس قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "ابن أخت القوم] (١) من أنفسهم" (٢).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The nephew of a people is counted among them.
Hadith 28180
٢٨١٨٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة (١) قال: قلت لمعاوية بن قرة: سمعت أنس ابن مالك يقول: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ للنعمان بن مقرن: "ابن أخت القوم من أنفسهم؟ " قال: نعم (٢).
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked Hazrat Nu’man bin Muqarrin: “Is the nephew of a people counted among them?” He replied: “Yes.”
Hadith 28181
٢٨١٨١ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن ابن (خثيم) (١) عن إسماعيل بن عبيد اللَّه (ابن) (٢) رفاعة عن أبيه عن جده قال: جمع رسول اللَّه ﷺ قريشًا فقال: "هل فيكم من غيركم؟ " قالوا: لا إلا ابن أختنا وحليفنا ومولانا (فقال) (٣): "ابن أختكم منكم وحليفكم منكم ومولاكم منكم" (٤).
Hazrat Rifa’ah narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gathered the tribe of Quraysh and asked: “Is there any outsider among you?” The people replied: “No, except for our nephews, our allies, and our slaves.” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Your nephews are from among you, your allies are from among you, and your slaves are also from among you.”
