Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Amarah narrates that Hazrat Abu Ayyub came and intended to spend the night on our roof which had no walls. He said: "It is near that I spend the night in such a state that I have no responsibility."

Hazrat Alaa bin Abdur Rahman narrates that I asked Hazrat Mujahid about the person who sleeps on a roof without a wall? Hazrat Mujahid replied: This refers to the person who, if he falls, dies.
