Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ash'ath narrates from Hasan regarding the bird that falls into a pot and dies, he gave this ruling: He said, its broth will be discarded and the meat will be eaten.

Ayyub narrates about Hazrat Ikrimah, he says: I asked Hazrat Ikrimah about a bird that fell into a boiling pot and died. He replied: The broth should be discarded and the meat may be eaten.
