Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Mujahid narrates about Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that these two personalities used to say: It was considered disliked to drink from the broken part of a cup or from near the handle of the cup.

It is narrated from Ibrahim, he says that the earlier people used to dislike drinking from the broken part of a vessel or from near the handle of the vessel.

Hazrat Ibrahim bin Muhajir narrates about Hazrat Mujahid that he disliked drinking from the handle of a cup or from the broken part of a vessel.
