It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri, he says that a man came to the service of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! My brother is suffering from diarrhea." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Give him honey to drink." So that man gave his brother honey to drink. Then (again) he came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have given him honey to drink, but the honey has increased his diarrhea." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Give him honey to drink." So the man (again) gave his brother honey to drink. And then he came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have given him honey to drink, but the honey has further increased his diarrhea." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (again) said, "Give him honey to drink." Then, whether it was the third or fourth time (I think), the man reported that the patient had recovered. Upon this, the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The word of Allah is true and your brother's stomach has lied."
