Hazrat Mughira narrates that a man said to his slave, "You are for Allah." Hazrat Shabi, Hazrat Al-Musayyib bin Rafi', and Hazrat Hammad bin Abu Sulayman were asked about this matter. All of them said, "He is free."
Hadith 24890
Ibrahim says that if a person says to his male or female slave, "You are free," or "You are emancipated," or "You are for Allah," then in all these cases, the slave will be considered free. And if he says, "You are my son's slave," then even in that case, the slave will be considered free.
