Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Sirin was asked about a person who gave wool to a cloth weaver, but he spoiled it. He said that Hazrat Shurayh used to say: Present witnesses for this matter that he spoiled it. If witnesses testify to this, then the cloth weaver will be told to return wool of the like of his wool to him.

Hazrat Mansur says that I gave my mother's wool to a cloth weaver, and he spoiled it. I asked Ibrahim about this matter. He said, "He will be held responsible."
