Dispute Between Two People Over an Item
Hadith 24801
٢٤٨٠١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع (قال: حدثنا) (١) إسرائيل عن جابر ⦗٥٧⦘ عن عامر في رجلين (يداريان الشيء) (٢) فقال: أحدهما لصاحبه: إن (حلفت) (٣) فهو لك، قال: إن حلف فهو له.
Hazrat Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if two people have a dispute over something and one of them says to the other, "If you take an oath, then it is yours," and if he takes the oath, then it will become his.
