A Person Is Owed Dirhams by Another
Hadith 24761
٢٤٧٦١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سهل بن يوسف عن (١) عمرو عن الحسن في الرجل (يكون) (٢) له على الرجل (دراهم) (٣) فيأخذها وفيها (مسمعية) (٤)، قال: لا بأس (به) (٥) وإن كانت فضة بعد أن يكون وزنا بوزن.
It is narrated from Hasan that if one person has dirhams due from another and he receives the dirhams, and among them are some marked dirhams, he says that even if it is silver, there is no harm, as long as they are equal in weight.
Hadith 24762
٢٤٧٦٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سهل بن يوسف عن ابن عون عن محمد أنه كان لا يرى بأسا (بالمسمعية) (١).
Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him, said that if some dirhams are marked, there is no harm in it.
