الرجل يبتاع من الرجل الشيء
A Person Buys Something from Another
Hadith 24702
٢٤٧٠٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا الضحاك (بن) (١) مخلد عن ابن جريج عن (عطاء في) (٢) رجل اشترى من رجل سلعة، (و) (٣) قال: إن لم آتك بالثمن إلى كذا وكذا (٤)، قال: ليس ببيع.
Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) says regarding the person who buys goods from another, he said: If he does not bring the specified amount of price to you, then the sale is not valid.
Hadith 24703
٢٤٧٠٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا الضحاك (بن) (١) مخلد عن ابن جريج قال: أخبرني سليمان مولى (ابن) (٢) (البرصاء) (٣) قال: (بعت) (٤) (من) (٥) ابن عمر سلعة أو بيعا، (فقال) (٦): إن جاءت نفقتنا إلى ثلاث فالسلعة لنا، وإن لم تأتنا نفقتنا إلى ثلاث فلا بيع بيننا وبينك، فسنستقبل فيها بيعا مستقبلا (٧).
Sulaiman narrates that I sold goods to Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). He said: If you bring our provision within three days, then the goods are ours, and if you do not bring our provision within three days, then there is no sale between us and you; thus, we will soon make a new sale.
