Matters in Which a Slave’s Admission Is Valid
Hadith 24693
٢٤٦٩٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن أشعث عن الشعبي عن شريح قال: يجوز إقرار العبد فيما (استخبره) (١) فيه أهله.
Hazrat Shurayh used to consider the confession of a slave valid in those matters which were sought to fulfill the needs of his family and dependents.
Hadith 24694
٢٤٦٩٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن أشعث عن الحكم وحماد عن إبراهيم أنه كان يجيز قول العبد فيما أذن له فيه أهله.
Ibrahim used to accept the acknowledgment of a slave regarding that wealth in which he was permitted to spend on his family and dependents.
