Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Iyas bin Muawiyah were asked about a slave who was jointly owned by three people. One of them made his share a mukatab (contracted for freedom), and one freed his share. Then the slave died in this state, having left behind some wealth. Who will receive the wealth? Hazrat Anas and Hazrat Iyas decided that the wealth he left behind will be equally divided among them.
