Salam Sale in Grapes
Hadith 24601
٢٤٦٠١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال: حدثنا مفضل (عن) (١) مغيرة قال: قلت لإبراهيم: الرجل يسلم في العنب، فلم ير به بأسا، قال: قلت أسلم في العنب أيأخذ (به) (٢) بسرا؟ قال: لا.
Hazrat Mughira says that I asked Ibrahim whether a person can make a forward sale (salam) in grapes? He did not see any harm in it. I said: A forward sale in grapes has been made with me, can I take them in a dried state? He replied: No.
