Earning by One’s Own Hand
Hadith 24598
٢٤٥٩٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم قال: كانوا يستحبون كسب اليد على التجارة.
It is narrated from Ibrahim that the Companions and the Followers preferred earning with their own hands through trade.
Hadith 24599
٢٤٥٩٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن وائل بن داود عن سعيد ابن (المسيب) (١) قال: سئل النبي ﷺ (٢): أي الكسب (أطيب) (٣)؟ قال: "عمل الرجل بيده، وكل (٤) بيع مبرور" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked: "Which earning is the most pure?" He (peace be upon him) replied: "A man's earning from his own hand and every good (valid) sale."
