Hazrat Sha’bi was asked: What if a judge has given a verdict unjustly? Hazrat Sha’bi replied: I do not say anything regarding injustice, but he says that it is not appropriate for a judge to give a verdict unjustly. In any case, if a judge gives a verdict, and then the verdict is brought before another judge, it is not appropriate for the second judge to review the verdict of the first judge. And the responsibilities of the verdicts that were his should be entrusted to him alone.
