Selling Spun Woolen Cloth for Unspun Woolen Cloth
Hadith 23722
٢٣٧٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة عن شعبة قال: سألت الحكم وحمادا عن غزل كتان بكتان وزنا بوزن؟ (فكرهاه) (١).
Hazrat Hakam and Hazrat Hammad were asked whether it is permissible to exchange spun woolen cloth for unspun woolen cloth by weighing them equally.
Hadith 23723
٢٣٧٢٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة قال: سألت الحكم وحمادا عن غزل كتان بكتان غير مغزول وزنا بوزن (فكرهاه) (١).
Hazrat Sha’bah says that exchanging spun woolen cloth for unspun woolen cloth, even if their weight is equal, is it permissible? He considered this disliked.
