Hadith 23648
٢٣٦٤٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن الشيباني عن الشعبي في (الرجل) (١) يشتري الجارية فتأبق منه، فإن دلست له أو (غُرّر به) (٢) رد عليه الثمن واطلب جاريتك.
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says regarding the person who buys a slave-girl and she runs away from him: if a defect was concealed at the time of sale or he was deceived, then he will return the price and demand his slave-girl back. And Hazrat Shurayh used to say that he will return only that slave-girl.
Hadith 23649
٢٣٦٤٩ - قال: وكان شريح يقول ردها (بدائها) (١).
23649 - He said: And Shurayh used to say: Return it (with its defect) (1).
