Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ismail reports: I was present in the service of Hazrat Qasim bin Abdur Rahman when a man came to him, arguing with one of Hajjaj’s officials that he had usurped his food. Hazrat Qasim demanded a witness from him; he brought a witness, and they testified that the official had taken food from his house. Hazrat Qasim asked: How much food did he take? They replied: We do not know. He said: Until you tell me its weight, I will not make a decision.
