Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) wrote that the shroud will be given from the entire wealth, not from one third of the wealth.

This is also narrated from Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him).

Hazrat Tawus says that if the wealth is abundant, then the shroud (kafan) will be taken from the entire wealth, and if the wealth is little, then it will be taken from one-third of the wealth.

Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) and Muhammad say that the shroud will be taken from the entire wealth.

The same is narrated from Hazrat Mujahid.

Hazrat Hammad says that the shroud (kafan) will be provided from the entire wealth, not from one-third or anything else.

Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib and Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with them) say that the shroud will be provided from the entire wealth.

Hazrat Khallas says that the shroud will be provided from one third of the wealth. And Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that it will be provided from the entire wealth.

Hazrat Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The shroud will be paid for from the entire estate.

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The shroud will be provided from the entire wealth.

The same is also narrated from Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him).

The same is narrated from Hazrat Abu Qalabah.

Hazrat Aamir says that a woman's shroud will be provided from her share of the wealth.

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the shroud will be provided from the entire wealth.

This is also narrated from Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him.

Hazrat Khallas says that the shroud will be provided from one third of the wealth.
