Hadith 22913
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Zaid bin Aslam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father that in a gathering, the discussion arose: if a person is compelled and before him are a dead animal and the wealth of a Muslim, what should he consume? I said that he should eat the dead animal. Hazrat Abdullah bin Dinar said he should consume the wealth of the Muslim. Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: You have spoken correctly; when a person is compelled, eating a dead animal becomes permissible for him, but the wealth of a Muslim does not become permissible even in compulsion.
Hadith 22914
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) that when a person is compelled towards something unlawful, then that which is unlawful for him becomes lawful.
