Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Harith Akli says that if a person marries a woman in exchange for a house, and then the pre-emptor (shafi') claims the house, the woman will receive mahr mithli (customary dower). Ibn Shubruma says that this is not my opinion; however, the pre-emptor can take its price.

Hasan says that there can be no pre-emption in dowry.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that there can be no pre-emption (shuf'ah) in dowry (mahr).

Hazrat Ibn Abi Layla states that if a man marries a woman in exchange for a house, then the pre-emptor can take the price of the house.
