٢١٤٣٦ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن داود عن أبي العالية والشعبي أنهما كانا يرخصان في بيع المصاحف.
Hazrat Abu Alia and Hazrat Shabi have considered the selling of copies of the Qur'an to be permissible.
Hadith 21437
٢١٤٣٧ - حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن داود عن الشعبي أنه قال: إنهم ليسوا يبيعون كتاب (اللَّه) (١)، (إنما) (٢) يبيعون الورق وعمل أيديهم.
Hazrat Sha'bi says that people do not sell the Book of Allah; in fact, they sell paper and their own work.
Hadith 21438
٢١٤٣٨ - حدثنا (١) (عبد اللَّه) (٢) بن إدريس عن هشام عن الحسن أنه كان لا يرى ببيعها وشرائها (بأسا) (٣).
Hasan considered the buying and selling of beautiful copies of the Qur'an to be permissible.
Hadith 21439
٢١٤٣٩ - حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن سعيد (عن) (١) مطر الوراق عن الحسن والشعبي أنهما كانا لا يريان بأسا ببيع المصاحف.
According to Hasan and Hazrat Sha'bi, there is no harm in buying and selling copies of the Qur'an.

٢١٤٤٠ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن داود عن الحسن أنه لم يكن (يرى) (١) ببيعها وشرائها بأسا.
