Angels Do Not Enter a House Where There Is a Dog
Hadith 21136
٢١١٣٦ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن (عبيد اللَّه) (١) عن ابن عباس عن أبي طلحة عن النبي ﷺ قال: "لا تدخل (الملائكة) (٢) (بيتًا) (٣) فيه صورة ولا كلب" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Angels do not enter a house in which there is a picture or a dog.
Hadith 21137
٢١١٣٧ - حدثنا زيد بن الحباب عن حسين بن (واقد) (١) عن (ابن) (٢) بريدة عن أبيه قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا تدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه كلب" (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Buraidah's father narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Angels do not enter the house in which there is a dog.
Hadith 21138
٢١١٣٨ - حدثنا زيد بن الحباب قال: أنا الليث بن سعد أقال: أخبرني (بكير) (١)] (٢) ابن عبد اللَّه بن الأشج عن (بسر) (٣) بن (سعيد) (٤) عن (زيد) (٥) بن خالد عن أبي طلحة أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "لا تدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه كلب ولا صورة" (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Angels do not enter a house in which there is a picture or a dog.
Hadith 21139
٢١١٣٩ - حدثنا غندر عن (شعبة) (١) عن علي بن مدرك عن أبي زرعة عن عبد اللَّه بن (نجي) (٢) عن أبيه عن علي عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال (٣): "لا تدخل الملائكة ⦗٢٣٧⦘ بيتا فيه كلب ولا صورة" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture.
