If a Man Releases His Dog Without Seeing the Game but Says Bismillah
Hadith 20799
٢٠٧٩٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن خالد عن معاوية بن قرة قال: كان أحدهم يرسل كلبه ويسمي ولا يرى صيدا فإذا (صاد) (١) أكله.
Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah, may Allah have mercy on him, says that if a person sends his dog without seeing the game and the dog hunts it, then he may eat that game.
Hadith 20800
٢٠٨٠٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا حفص عن حجاج قال: سألت عطاء عن الكلاب تنفلت من مرابطها (فتقتل) (١) قال: لا بأس به.
Hazrat Hajjaj (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) about those dogs which run away from their place of being tied and hunt; what is the ruling regarding their hunted animal? He replied: There is no harm in it.
