Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the man's statement will be considered valid, and Hazrat Hammad and Hazrat Dhakwan (may Allah have mercy on them) say that if the woman's statement is of a dowry less than the customary amount, then the woman's statement will be considered valid.

18446 - Hammad and Ibn Dhakwan said: The statement is hers as long as it is between her and the dowry of her peers.

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if the woman's statement regarding the dowry is less than the customary dowry, then the woman's statement will be considered valid.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair and Hazrat Shabi d say that if a man marries a woman in exchange for deferred and immediate dower, then the man consummates the marriage, the testimony will be established that he has paid the dower.

18449 - From Isma'il ibn Salim, from al-Sha'bi, they both said regarding a man who married a woman with an immediate and a deferred (dowry), and he consummated with her, they both said: his proof is that he gave it to her.
