قوله: ﴿أو أكننتم في أنفسكم﴾
Explanation of the Quranic Verse: {Or you concealed it within yourselves} ({أَوْ أَکْنَنْتُمْ فِیْ أَنْفُسِکُمْ})
Hadith 18352
١٨٣٥٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن إدريس عن ليث عن مجاهد: ﴿أَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ﴾ [البقرة: ٢٣٥]، قال: ذكره (إياها) (١) (في) (٢) نفسه.
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him), in the commentary of the verse { أَوْ أَکْنَنْتُمْ فِیْ أَنْفُسِکُمْ } of the Holy Qur'an, says that it means a man remembering a woman in his heart.
Hadith 18353
١٨٣٥٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن الحسن: ﴿أَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ﴾: (١) الخطبة.
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) says in the commentary of the verse { أَوْ أَکْنَنْتُمْ فِیْ أَنْفُسِکُمْ } of the Holy Qur'an that what is meant by this is the proposal of marriage.
