Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Qalabah says that the waiting period (‘istibra’) for a slave-girl who does not menstruate is forty-five days.

Hazrat Hakam states that for a slave-girl who does not menstruate, her period of istibra’ is one and a half months.

Hazrat Aamir says that the waiting period (‘istibra’) for a slave-girl who does not menstruate is one and a half months.

Hazrat Qatadah and Hazrat Ata say that the waiting period (Istibra) for a slave woman who does not menstruate is forty-five days.

Hazrat Hammad says that the waiting period (Istibra) for a slave-girl who does not menstruate is forty-five days.

Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the waiting period (‘istibra’) for a slave woman who does not menstruate is forty days.

Hazrat Ibn Musayyib and Ibrahim state that for a slave-girl who does not menstruate, her waiting period ('istibra') is one and a half months.
