Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid says that a mukatabah slave-girl will have the right of option after freedom. (A mukatabah slave-girl is one whose owner makes an agreement to free her after receiving a specified amount from her.)

Hazrat Aamir says that a slave woman who has entered into a contract of manumission will have the right of option after gaining freedom.

Ibrahim says that if the husband of a slave woman helps her for her freedom through a contract of manumission, then after her freedom he will have no authority over her.

Hazrat Aamir says that after emancipation, a female slave who has entered into a contract of manumission will have the choice, even if her husband has made efforts to pay the amount of the contract with her.
