Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Awza'i says that a man married his daughter on the condition that one thousand dinars would be given to the daughter and one thousand dinars to the father. Their case came before Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz, so he said that the woman will receive two thousand dinars and the father will receive nothing.

Hazrat Ikrimah says that if he is the one who arranges the marriage, then he will receive the condition that he stipulated.

Hazrat Urwah and Hazrat Saeed state that anything related to the dowry or the contract of marriage will go to the woman, and if it is a gift or present, etc., then it can go to her family members.

Hazrat Abu Ishaq states that Hazrat Masruq married his daughter on the condition that her husband would give, in addition to the dowry, ten thousand dinars.

Hazrat Zuhri says that a woman will receive everything for which she became lawful for her husband.

Hazrat Ata says that if a condition of gift, etc. is stipulated for a woman's brother or father, then if the woman makes a claim, she is more deserving of it.
