Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib has considered seeking offspring from a slave woman acquired through unlawful means as undesirable (makruh).

Hazrat Abu Ja'far says that a man may have intercourse with a slave woman who is a thief, but it is not permissible to have children from her.

Hazrat Abu Ruwa' reports that I asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about a slave woman from the Haramiya, so he replied, "There are many women."

Ibrahim says that it is permissible to make use of a slave-girl acquired through war booty.

Hasan, regarding the slave woman of a thief, says that she is his property; he can have intercourse with her.

Hasan says that there is no harm in buying a slave woman who is a thief and having intercourse with her.

Hazrat Sayyar Mawla Muawiya narrates that once a man intended to marry a prostitute woman and consulted a companion (Sahabi) about it. He replied, "Do not do so; it is better for you to marry her mother than to marry her."

Hazrat Muhammad bin Sirin, regarding marriage with a woman from a family of thieves, says that why should she bear the burden of her parents' sin.

Hazrat Hakam says that if I have a slave woman who is a thief, I have no shame in having intercourse with her.
