Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to allow his slave to dispose of his property and did not consider it objectionable.

Ayyub says that a slave can dispose of his own property, but not of his master's property.

Hasan did not see any harm in a slave disposing of his master's property with his master's permission.

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz says that there is no harm if a slave disposes of his property.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that when the master gives the slave permission to dispose (of property), then he can do so.

Hazrat Ata says that there is no harm if a slave makes use of his master's property.

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) says that there is no harm if a slave disposes of his property.

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) had a slave who used to trade. Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) had given him permission, and he used to deal with the wealth.
