Those Who Removed Their Shoes When Ascending the Minbar of the Messenger (ﷺ)
Hadith 16629
١٦٦٢٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معن بن عيسى (عن) (١) ثابت بن قيس قال: رأيت أبا بكر إذا رقى (على المنبر) (٢) خلع نعليه.
Hazrat Thabit bin Qais narrates that I saw Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, when he ascended the pulpit of the Messenger (peace be upon him), he took off his shoes.
Hadith 16630
١٦٦٣٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معن بن عيسى عن مالك قال: سئل الزهري هل تقلد المرأة (و) (١) تشعر؟ قال: لا بأس به.
Hazrat Imam Zuhri was asked whether a woman may put on the garland and perform Isha'ar. He replied: There is no harm in it.
Hadith 16631
١٦٦٣١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معن بن عيسى عن محمد بن هلال قال: رأيت عمر بن عبد العزيز إذا رقى منبر النبي ﷺ خلع نعليه.
Hazrat Muhammad bin Hilal narrates that I saw Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz; when he ascended the pulpit of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), he would remove his shoes.
