Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Yazid bin Abdullah bin Qasit narrates that I saw some of the noble Companions (Sahabah) that when the mosque would become empty, they would go near the pulpit of the Messenger (peace be upon him) and touch it and make du'a. The narrator states that Hazrat Yazid would also do the same.

Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib disliked placing the hand on the pulpit of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
