في المحرم يلبس القبا
A Muhrim Wearing a Qabaa (Long Coat)
Hadith 16615
١٦٦١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعمِل عن جعفر عن أبيه قال: قال علي: من اضطر إلى ثوب وهو محرم (ولم) (١) يكن له إلا قبًا فلينكسه، يجعل أعلاه أسفله ثم ليلبس (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if the clothes of a person in Ihram become tight and he has no other garment except a Qaba (a type of cloak), then he should turn it inside out, make its upper part lower, and wear it.
Hadith 16616
١٦٦١٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير (بن) (١) عبد الحميد عن ليث عن (عطاء ومجاهد) (٢) قالا: لا يدخل المحرم منكبيه في القبا، ولا بأس أن يرتدي به.
Hazrat Ata and Hazrat Mujahid say that a Muhrim should not insert his shoulders into a Qaba, and if he drapes the Qaba over himself, then there is no harm in it.
Hadith 16617
١٦٦١٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: لا يدخل المحرم منكبيه في القبا، ولا بأس أن يرتدي به.
Ibrahim also says the same.
Hadith 16618
١٦٦١٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معاذ عن أشعث عن الحسن أنه كان لا يرى بأسًا أن يلبس المحرم القبا (ما) (١) لم يدخل منكبيه فيه.
Hasan says that if a Muhrim does not insert his shoulders into the Qaba, then there is no harm in wearing it as a covering.
Hadith 16619
١٦٦١٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن أبي سلمة قال: سئل عكرمة عن محرم لبس قبا، قال: يخلعه.
Hazrat Ikrimah was asked whether a Muhrim can wear a Qabaa (a type of garment)? He replied: He will take off the Qabaa (he will not wear it).
