Hadith 16033
١٦٠٣٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن سليمان بن (أبي) (١) المغيرة العبسي عن ابن أبي (نعم) (٢) عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: ما (يقبل) (٣) من حصى الجمار رفع (٤).
Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri says that the pebbles which are accepted in Rami are picked up.
Hadith 16034
١٦٠٣٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن فطر عن أبي الطفيل قال: قلت لابن عباس: رمي (الناس) (١) في الجاهلية والإِسلام؟ فقال: ما يقبل منه رفع، و (لولا) (٢) ذلك كان أعظم من ثبير (٣).
Hazrat Abu Tufail narrates that I asked Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that people used to perform Rami (stoning) both in Islam and in the days of ignorance. He replied that the pebbles which are accepted are taken up; if it were not so, there would have been a mountain (a large heap) of pebbles there.
