Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would sometimes perform Tawaf and offer two rak'ahs by entering inside the Ka'bah.

Hazrat Salim narrates that I saw that he performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah, then entered the Ka'bah and offered two rak'ahs.

Hazrat Ja'far says that I asked my father about performing prayer in the Ka'bah. He replied that I performed prayer in the Ka'bah with my father, Hazrat Husain bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah. Hazrat Usama bin Zaid, Hazrat Bilal, and Hazrat Uthman bin Talhah were with him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed inside the Ka'bah for a while. After that, Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was the first among the people to enter after him. I asked Hazrat Bilal, "Where did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offer the prayer?" Hazrat Bilal replied, "Between the two front pillars." The narrator says that I forgot to ask him how many rak'ahs the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed.

It is narrated from Hazrat Usman bin Talha that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Kaaba, he performed two rak'ahs facing the front.
