Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Zuhri says regarding the person who enters into the state of Ihram for Umrah and then has intercourse with his wife before completing the Umrah, that he should repeat the Umrah and give a camel in charity.

Hazrat Qatadah says regarding the person who puts on the Ihram for Umrah and then has intercourse with his wife before performing the Tawaf of the Ka'bah, that he should return to the place from where he put on the Ihram, put on the Ihram again at that very place (and perform Umrah again), and offer a sacrifice.

Ibrahim says that if a husband performing ‘umrah has intercourse with his wife who is also performing ‘umrah, then both of them should offer a sacrifice and repeat their ‘umrah.

Hazrat Qatadah was asked about a person who entered into the state of Ihram for Umrah and then had intercourse with his wife before performing Tawaf? He replied that both of them should return, enter into Ihram again, and remain separate from each other until the Umrah is completed, and both of them are required to offer a sacrifice.

Hasan and Hazrat Ata say that such a person should return to the miqat, assume the ihram for Umrah again from there, and offer a sacrifice.
