Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that if a Muhrim smells the fragrance of basil, there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Ata says that if a Muhrim smells the fragrance of basil, there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Mujahid says that there is no harm if a person in the state of Ihram smells the fragrance of basil.

Hazrat Ata says that if a Muhrim smells the fragrance of idhkhir (a type of grass), there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Al-Aswad says that there is no harm if a Muhrim smells a fragrant herb or musk.

Hazrat Abu Ja'far and Hazrat Ata say that if a Muhrim smells a fragrant herb, there is no harm in it.
