Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It was said to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that your nieces dislike wearing jewelry while in the state of Ihram. She made them swear to use all kinds of jewelry.

The wife and daughters of Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to wear jewelry while in the state of Ihram.

Muhammad says that the Companions disliked women using jewelry whether in the state of ihram or outside of it.

Hazrat Saeed al-Zubaidi narrates that I asked Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair whether a woman can use silk and jewelry while in the state of Ihram? He replied that if she can use them without Ihram, then why can she not wear them in the state of Ihram.

Hassan was asked which jewelry a woman in Ihram may display. He replied: "A ring."

Hazrat Ibrahim says that a woman in Ihram may use such jewelry that does not make a sound and she should keep it concealed.

Hazrat Aswad and Hazrat Alqamah state that a woman in the state of Ihram may use all those things (such as jewelry, etc.) which she uses when not in Ihram (such as jewelry, silk, etc.).

Hazrat Ibn al-Aswad was asked which jewelry a woman in Ihram may use? He replied: Whatever jewelry she used to wear when not in the state of Ihram.
