Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the Maghrib and Isha prayers with one adhan and two iqamahs, and he did not offer any voluntary prayer between them.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ayyub that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Muzdalifah with one iqamah.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that we came to Muzdalifah with Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and he led us in Maghrib and Isha prayers with a single iqamah. Then he turned towards us and said: At this place, in this manner, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that I performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers with Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) with one Iqamah, and he said that I had also performed it in the same way with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah were agreed that every prayer will be combined with one adhan and one iqamah.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abu Ismail narrates that I performed Maghrib and Isha prayers with Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair at Muzdalifah with one Iqamah.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) performed both prayers at Muzdalifah with a single iqamah.

Hazrat Umar performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers with a single Iqamah.

Hazrat Aswad offered the Maghrib prayer at Muzdalifah, then ate the night meal, and then offered the Isha prayer.

Hazrat Abdul Kareem says that I performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers behind Hazrat Salim at Muzdalifah with one adhan and two iqamahs. I met Hazrat Nafi', and I asked him, "Did Hazrat Abdullah do it this way?" He replied, "It is indeed so." Then I met Hazrat Ata, and I said to him, "Indeed, I have told them that there is no prayer without iqamah."
